I ain’t new 2 this – I’m true 2 this
 This past weekend while spending quality time with my daughters and my sister Tonya, I enjoyed a great time – as usual. There were some spiritual insights that I was blessed to recognize from that fellowship. You see the more spiritual we allow ourselves to become as Romans 8:1, 10, 15 clearly states – the more bondage we get delivered from. (I’d read all of Romans 8 to get all God is saying relating to Living in the Spirit). Here are a few points I wanted to share as I thank my youngest daughter Billi for her wit (while she was talking about another matter – I saw clearly the TRUTH in her statement)
1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 10.
And if Christ be in you the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because
of righteousness. 15.
For we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father!
I have underlined now, again – you did notice that right? There is therefore
now, implies there was at one time a condemnation that I had – yes just let me talk about me, since many of you readers are not ready, nor willing to be transparent. For we have not received the spirit of bondage again –
again implies that I had bondage before I found the “answer” in God’s Word!
So as we continue to walk in the faith and are no longer now condemning ourselves and we no longer have the spirit of bondage again to fear – we are being transformed, yes as uncomfortable as it may be GOD is doing a great work in us, through us and for us – For HIS Glory.
On our prayer line call this am we shared prayerfully what fear can be
- a) FEAR – False, Emulations Appearing Real;
- b) FEAR: Negatives that are made in the dark. At age 59 (Today 10.25.2010)
I can truly say with Godfidence (not confidence) that I ain’t new 2 this – I’m true 2 this! I know what God wants to occur in my life – I accept it and consider it a privilege to pray with victory and expectancy for you and for myself.
Prayer: Lord thank you for the revelation of YOUR WORD, the realness of YOUR WILL and the miracles of YOUR WAY. Lord we thank you that now we are free and free indeed. Help us to continue on our Journey 2 Jesus. Thank you in advance for all you are doing – have done and will do in our lives. Thank you Lord for another day, help
me to do all things YOUR Way. Amen, Amen, Amen
