An Old Cherokee

This is not an original quote of my own, but it certainly has blessed me – now I want to share it with others

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life “a fight is going on inside of me,” he said to the young man. “It is a terrible fight and it is between 2 wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, strife, regret, greed, arrogance, fear, doubt, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, and ego. The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, laughter, hope, humility, humor, serenity, kindness, benevolence, passion, generosity, truth, faith.

This same fight is going on inside you son – and inside every other person on this earth. The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather which wolf would win. The old Cherokee simply replied with confidence “The one you feed the most.”

Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare. Manage to lead - go confidently in the direction of your dreams, not others! Build the dreams for you and then live the life GOD has purposed you to live, the one you have been imagining you could do. Ask God first what HIS plan is for your life stay in your lane and never run out of GAS – God’s Awesome Spirit!
