All That I Am - Daria Dillard Stone

This is a poem written by a dear friend of mine with a great talent - Mr. Ray. A. Gaddis. I gave this to Todd on 5.25.01 to remind him how much I loved him and how DEEP that love was. I now share it with my Sharing-Ministries Network

All That I Know, All That I Am

The creator has blessed me with you, the perfect mate.
And I pledge to share the pulse of life with you.
To love you as never before is set in my dreams.
As the tears of joy fall from the yoke of my soul.
Let the voices from heaven bond me to you as you are part in me.
Let not the rivers stop flowing.
Let not the birds stop flying.
Let not the wind stop blowing.
For when the twilight reaches the day, I am designed new with you.
In you I have found my buried treasure, my sanctuary of peace, my
Steady shoulder, and my simple song.
You have released from deep within my secret sanctums, a rainbow of true visions.
Of which I trust to you to keep safe.
For surely God has done for me what I could not do for myself
And I will do for you what I have done for no other.
You with your gentle band, have cultivated the soul in my garden,
and stretched the boundaries of my love beyond imagination.
You have given me a pathway through the corridors of tranquility and
Happiness, the likes of which I have never known.
And in your breath you have put me above all others.
For you I intertwine my heart, my mind, and my soul with yours.
One beat, one thought, and one journey.
I give to you the power to become one with me completely.
At the end of each day, when all has been said, and all has been done.
Come lay with me and we will dance the dance that lovers dance.
We will dream the dreams that lovers dream.
We will play the games that lovers play.
And then we will love the love that no one else can know.
As we enter the pyramid of life together, let love be as ageless as time.
Let the stars become our beacons of light.
Let the winds of change never deceive us.
Let truth and respect be the communicator that will last a lifetime.
And then let the souls of our father's keep a watchful eye.
On this day I humbly say to you.
You are all that I know. All that I am.
