411 of a Servant

During our lifetime we tend to do many things “for God” but less “with God.” God wants us to take Him everywhere we go – a lesson I had difficulty learning. I was actually – not knowingly, adding up what I did for The Lord, how often I did it and when, and then would have the audacity to say “I need a break from serving God and His people.” Now don’t get this thought twisted – we do need to rest and refresh, relax and revive ourselves, but ask yourself this question “why do I do what I do?” We can have the right moves but the wrong motives and vice versa. That is why we MUST always seek direction from Our Lord. Ask that question in all areas of your life, at home, on your job (if you have one), in your social life, personal and professional life.

This is a page/category on Sharing-Ministries website to illustrate how far the little things we do for others and ourselves in building God’s Kingdom, have far more weight with God than we could imagine. Stop looking for the applause and seek the silent acknowledgments. Because I care, I share.

Hey Sis – Girl, it’s been a while since we’ve talked…but GOD knew I needed to hear from my sister Daria, can’t begin to thank you for allowing the Lord to fill you so you in turn would be able to pour a blessing into me. Whether you remember everything you said or not – is unimportant. But that you knew to speak the truth is what matters…..W.K. Always say what you mean and mean what you say. Sometimes speaking the truth is challenging and downright painful. Yet a true friend is a real treasure, when they “speak the truth as they are led by the Holy Spirit.”

Daria, what a wonderful evening it was the other night…you know I have been led closer to God by you …I have had my eyes, ears, my heart, my soul opened. I have learned about suffering, but not losing hope, about forgiveness, about prayer, about unconditional love. You are truly a woman of God, forgiving, loving, serving. I love you Daria – Thank You-! D.L. No greater love can one have for their fellow man than to serve and honor them more than you do yourself. .

Daria – on behalf of all of us at DAALI we thank you for your work on the committee and as MC at the annual meeting, you were superlative as usual. You have been gifted to bring us to another level. I am sure GOD is pleased with you. B.C.L. Dear Lord, Not my will Lord, but your will be done in my life! Never let me think of myself higher than I ought to think. Keep me humble as you release the power and stir up your gifts in me. Amen

Daria, my sistah – I read your card – you always make your presents/presence felt. You make your card come alive, so when I read it I felt your love and I love you for that and thanks for your love and friendship.
